Shakira__ really does seem to have it all: good looks, a booming musical career, a handsome and loving man and two adorable little sons, Milan and Sasha. But even she admits, that having it all can come with its challenges, especially when you're also a mom. In a recent cover story for the September issue of HOLA! USA, Shakira confesses how motherhood has been the hardest part of her life.

"It's the hardest job I've ever had," Shakira says regarding her role as a mother. "I never thought it'd be so difficult, because it takes a lot of your energy. I think of my family a lot; I'm concerned about them all day. It's physical, emotional and intellectual wear and tear. Thinking of making an album seemed like a Herculean task, like climbing Mount Everest."

In fact, it's gotten so challenging, Shakira had even debated retiring from her music career. "These are things that go through your head one crazy night, but that's why one has a family that cares, and helps you put your feet back on the ground," she said. "Thank God I found that incentive again, because now more than ever, I want to sing and go on tour."

Fortunately for us, Shakira isn't retiring anytime soon. Could you imagine a musical world without her? That would be pretty darn depressing actually.

Shaki claims that in order for her to actually get everything she needs to get done, she'd need a 32-hour day. But she still wouldn't have it any other way. Her and her Barcelona player boyfriend and baby daddy, Gerard Piqué somehow find a way to balance family life despite their demanding careers, because for them family will always be the priority.

"We try to do the best we can," Shakira says regarding finding a balance. There's a lot of love; that's the foundation of any family. You have to take care of it and dedicate time. Family is the most important thing for me; the rest is secondary."
