Kim and Kanye's surrogate is slated to give birth in January 2018. The couple reportedly paid $45,000 to hire the surrogate and $68,850 to the agency. In addition, they've agree to pay $5,000 in case she is to carry twins.
For the longest time, Kim was always two and done. For her first pregnancy with North, she suffered with preeclampsia, which affects blood pressure. When she was pregnant with Saint in 2015, she was also diagnosed with placenta accreta, a condition where the placenta grows into the womb's wall.
"I want my kids to have siblings," she shared on KUWTK. Kim tried to get pregnant naturally and had surgery on her uterus earlier this year. The operation didn't leave her with positive results, which led her to pick surrogacy.

No matter how her new child comes to this world, I respect Kim for being open about her journey, and sticking to her guns about expanding her family. She obviously loves to be a mom and the Kardashians love to breed more Kardashians. This way their empire will never die.
