Elizabeth Gutierrez took beautiful selfies with her kids Christopher and Kailey over the weekend, but fans noticed something new about her son. The mini William Levy was seen rocking blonde hair (as some tweens do!). Elizabeth was blasted by some followers for allowing her 11-year-old to dye his hair. Take a look at the photo and let's talk about all the mom-shaming going on here.

"In love," the Mexican star wrote as her caption. Christopher's hair does look noticeably lighter. Kids at that age do start wanting to experiment with hair color. For all we know, it could be a semi-permanent dye or a hair color spray that washes out.
One fan wrote, "Why would you dye his beautiful natural hair?" Another follower protested, "He's way too young to be dyeing his hair! Don't force him to grow up too fast…your kids are precious. Sorry for writing this, but it's not a good look."
I think these people are right. While I do believe that every family makes their own decisions, I also think that Christopher is too young to have his hair colored. The chemicals you're exposing your child's skin to is just too intense.

Most pediatricians don't recommend dyeing your child's hair until at least 16. Non permanent is the way to go and you want to avoid adding dye directly to the scalp. Judging on the photo Elizabeth shared, it looks like Christopher's roots haven't been touched by dye.
I'm sure Elizabeth knows that and is smirking at the mom-shaming haters.
