Beyoncé’s road to twins was a lot harder than you think

This might come as a huge surprise to you but as goddess-like as Beyoncé might be, the girl is actually mortal. That's right, she has the same struggles and disappointments that a lot of us humans have. Her new pregnancy might have broken the internet but it wasn't easy. In fact, according to E! News getting pregnant again after Blue Ivy was a lot harder than you'd imagine.

"[Bey and Jay] have been trying for some time," a source tells E! News. "And it has not been very easy conceiving this time around, so when they did it was a miracle. They always wanted more kids, and they are doing really well as a couple so the timing is on point."

Blue Ivy is 5, so you figure if Beyonce has been trying to have a kid since Blue Ivy was born, she could have easily been trying to get pregnant for at least four or five years. That's a long time.

Let's not forget, Beyonce is pregnant with twins and IVF significantly increases the chances of twins or triplets. So if Beyonce received IVF in efforts to help her conceive, that could be the reason why she's now carrying twins. In other words, if she was having issues conceiving there's a really good chance she received some sort of infertility treatment.

When you look at someone as flawless and succesful as Beyonce, it's hard to remember that her life isn't always picture perfect. In her 2013 HBO documentary, Life Is But a Dream, she opened up about how she had suffered a miscarriage before having Blue Ivy.

"About two years ago, I was pregnant for the first time," she had said. "And I heard the heartbeat, which was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life." But before she was able to share the news with her family, Beyoncé suffered some pregnancy complications. "I flew back to New York to get my check up – and no heartbeat," she said. "Literally the week before I went to the doctor, everything was fine, but there was no heartbeat."

So you see, even Beyoncé goes through things like infertility. The next time you find yourself in a stressful situation remember that everyone has their problems–even Queen Bee! Wishing her a healthy and blissful pregnancy and counting down the days before those beautiful twins are born.
