There seems to be a ton of controversy around parents kissing their kids on the lips. Apparently some folks find it to be "inappropriate." But Jennifer Lopez could care less what the haters think–and we love her for it. She recently posted a picture of her and her kids where she's seen giving her daughter Emme a kiss on the lips and the response was, fortunately, a lot more positive than we expected.

"Oooohhh yeaaaahhhh… #coconutsandwich #mybabies #LOVE," J.Lo captioned the photo. There are a number of celebs who've received backlash for posting photos of themselves kissing their kids on the lips, including Hilary Duff and Victoria Beckham. A lot of people disapproved of it but it looks like J.Lo's fans are above the bullshit. Most of the comments she received were pretty positive.

The response to J.Lo's post really is amazing because it proves that kissing your kids on the lips really isn't a big deal. It's simply another way to show love and affection. Honestly, it's insane that folks would even consider sexualizing a woman kissing her own child or baby on the lips.
At the end of the day, J.Lo is just showing off how much she loves her kids and that's definitely something to admire!
