It looks like Kim Kardashian West might be ready for another baby. In a recent clip promoting next week's episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, Kim opens up about wanting to have another child. Only she's not sure if she actually wants to carry the baby herself this time around. Apparently she's seriously looking into the possibility of a surrogate.

"So I've come to the conclusion that I just want to explore surrogacy," Kim tells mom, Kris Jenner. I don't think Kris was expecting to hear that because she looked shocked. I didn't know that Kim was even thinking about having a third child, but it makes total sense that she would consider a surrogate. She's been open in the past about her difficult pregnancies.
During her pregnancy with North, Kim suffered from preeclampsia, a complication that usually consists of high blood pressure, damage to another organ system (usually the kidneys), and swollen hands and feet. She had issues getting pregnant the second time and eventually had to undergo fertility treatments. She also experienced placenta accrete, a very serious pregnancy condition that occurs when blood vessels and other parts of the placenta grow way too deeply into the uterine wall.
At this point, Kim is convinced that pregnancy just doesn't agree with her. "I just don't think pregnancy and me really agree with each other," she said last year while pregnant with Saint.
"I'm really not complaining, I'm just being honest about [it]. I hate it," she had said. "You know pregnancy is not for me. You know I've heard stories forever about how amazing pregnancy is from my mom and Kourtney and that's just not the case for me and I'm not going to sit here and lie and act like it's the most blissful experience. It's awful."
I can't blame Kim for not wanting to get pregnant again. Not everyone gets to experience easy, comfortable pregnancies. And considering how difficult both her pregnancies were, it only makes sense to want to use a surrogate the third time around. I can't help but wonder: What will Kim and Kanye name their third bundle of joy. Maybe South or God?
