The NBA player filed for divorce last month and reports keep getting more and more dramatic. Between a rumored affair to an invalid prenup and leaked 911 calls, this story just keeps getting crazier. On October 18th, the NBA player filed for divorce from his wife of 19 years.
She reportedly did something that left him "devastated" and the rumors are not pretty.
Larsa reportedly had an affair with the rapper Future.
According to Us Weekly, they met late this summer and he has been flying her on his private jet ever since. “He found out about Larsa and Future and couldn’t handle it,” a source told the publication.
Future also shared a cryptic Snapchat just days after their split with the caption, "She mine now."
Cops arrived at their Florida residence twice recently.
TMZ leaked two phone calls Ms. Pippen made to authorities on October 1st. In one call, she says, “Can you send someone over here? My husband’s being really aggressive with me.”
His lawyer responded to reports about the 911 call and his abrasive behavior.
In a statement to People, his attorney Roberta G. Stanley wrote, “Although Mr. and Ms. Pippen both have public personas, their divorce is a private matter. Mr. Pippen requests that the press respect his privacy and that of his family during this time."
A source close to Larsa is denying the rumors of an affair with Future.
An insider told Us Weekly, "She's solely focused and dedicated to her children." The family took this photo posing alongside friends in Miami back in April.
The couple, who got married in 1997, are very family-oriented.
They have four children together: Sophia Pippen, Scotty Pippen Jr., Justin Pippen and Preston Pippen.
In June, Larsa shouted out her husband for being an amazing father.
She wrote, "Happy Father's Day to my Ace @scottiepippen. A man's worth is measured by how he parents his children. The lessons he teaches and the lessons he allows them to learn on their own."
Things may get ugly with their prenup.
According to TMZ, the couple signed a prenup when they got married, but decided to nullify it a year ago. Their $50 million fortune may be an issue in the near future.
Reportedly, Scottie wants to move to Chicago with their 4 children.
Meanwhile, Larsa would rather stay in Florida. She's also asking for spousal support, the Florida house and school tuition for their children.
Larsa had her own response to the divorce in an official statement.
Her rep wrote in a statment, published in Us Weekly, “Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their four beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect.”
