SEE: Little girl breastfeeds doll & there’s nothing wrong with it

Breastfeeding is a normal part of life, but we still get shamed for doing it in public. Things got next-level crazy when a 2-year-old's mom posted a photo of her little one breastfeeding her doll while out shopping. People described the polarizing image as, "the nastiest sh*t of their life," but I don't see what the big deal is.

On the Facebook page, Breastfeeding Mom Talk, the child's mom reacts to the backlash and wrote:

I am absolutely blown away. I posted this picture of my daughter and woke up to messages asking if this was about me. I'm not bashing for how anyone else parents and maybe it is the wording that gets to me, the parts saying "it's the nastiest shit of their life" and "I need punched in the damn face" but I am shocked.

Honestly, I am too. Kids are constantly imitating adults and this is just another example of that. In fact, I think it's pretty cute that little Charlotte is feeding her baby this way. The mom nailed it when she added:

A baby putting a bottle to its doll's mouth, they are feeding their baby doll, correct? There's no difference. I do not feel the need to correct Charlotte because breastfeeding is wrong? She said her baby wanted to eat, so she fed her.

End of story! This woman should not get mom-shamed for allowing her daughter to play like this. She's teaching her to grow up in a world where there's no stigma about breastfeeding and by the time she becomes a mother, hopefully the world actually does function that way.
