1. Teach them to make their own decisions. Explain that each action has a reaction and that being impulsive will have consequences. You should also teach them to be able to defend their decisions, which will help better their critical thinking skills.

2. Explain teamwork: Make sure they understand the importance of celebrating others' victories and to show humility when it comes to their own successes. Motivate them to participate in group activities, such as team sports. Teach them the value in truly listening to others.

3. Promote diversity: Encourage them to do volunteer work to help those in need. Take them to museums or multicultural events that will help them expand their views and understand other customs and traditions. Remind them that successful teams are made up of people with different points of view.

4. Teach them to accept change. Teach them to welcome change and to see it as an opportunity for growth. Help them be up to date when it comes to technology as long as it's benefitial to their education. Encourage them to share their knowledge with others.
