Thalia dresses her daughter like Frida Kahlo & it’s the cutest thing ever (PHOTO)

Thalia knows the value of passing down certain cultural traditions and lessons to her two children Matthew and Sabrina. The Mexican singer spent the long holiday weekend by taking the kiddies to the Botanical Garden in the Bronx, New York, which featured a cultural exhibit in honor of the legendary artist Frida Kahlo. To make the experience even more memorable, Thalia decided to dress her first born princess in a traditional embroidered top and headdress that looked absolutely adorable. She looked like a mini-Frida Kahlo!

Little Sabrina looks like a doll! The best part about her look is that all of it is passed down from her late mother Yolanda. Thalia wrote, "Traditions continue. This was my little dress when I was 8, almost the same age as Sabrina, made by my mother. I paired it with a necklace my dad gave my mom when they were still dating. Treasures that keep making smiles." This makes the photo even more beautiful in my eyes.

There are certain family items that take you back to memories buried deep in your heart. When I look at my grandmother's old rings or old family photographs, I'm reminded about my family's colorful past. Each piece has a story behind it, which makes you value and love it even more. I carry those pieces as a part of my history and identity.

Thalia is raising Sabrina to be proud of her roots and family tree. There's nothing more inspiring than that. On top of showing Sabrina about her family legacy, Thalia also took her to a Frida exhibit at the public garden. It seems like a day packed with family fun and memories that will last a life time. When Sabrina gets older she's going to be grateful that her mom taught her to embrace her culture in all of these beautiful ways.
