Teen girls are going to the extreme to recreate Kylie Jenner's exaggerated full pout. The latest social media trend includes teen girls challenging themselves to stick their lips in a bottle and suck until the skin tightens and swells up. This is insane! I can guarantee this isn't how the 17-year-old gets her lips to look so full! You have to see the teen's crazy photo of this dangerous trend! This isn't the only social media trend that is putting our teens in danger, though. See what the #kyliejennerchallenge is all about plus nine other scary social media trends all parents should know about.

"The fire challenge"
"The Fire Challenge" was sparked in the summer of 2014. Teens across the nation would spill rubbing alcohol over themselves and then voluntarily light themselves on fire. The videos were posted all over Facebook and social media. I still don't get the point of this!
"The cinnamon challenge"
This ridiculous teen trend took full effect in 2012. The challenge was to film yourself swallowing a spoonful of ground cinnamon in less than a minute without drinking water. As a result, many suffered lung scarring and ephysema. This is a perfect example when boredom just goes too far.
Neknomination
The hashtag was trending last year and things got ugly. The challenge was to drink as much alcohol as possible very quickly and challenge your friends to do the same and film it. It was reported that five people died due to alcohol poisoning. This takes all of the fun out of drinking!
"The condom challenge"
Snorting rubbers doesn't sound very appealing, but it was a big teen social media trend in 2013. The challenge was to snort the condom, pull it back to your throat and through your mouth. Many teens choked trying to attempt this one and others needed to be rushed to the ER for getting it lodged in their throat. Not a smart way to use contraceptives.
"The cold water challenge"
This trend has probably been around for a long time without using a camera and social media, of course. Teens would challenge each other to jump into an icy lake and swim back to shore. The dangerous consequences included hypothermia and drowning. A motherly smack should have also been included.
"The choking game"
Last year, the deadly "choking game" or "fainting game" spread on social media. Photos and videos surfaced of teens choking themselves to get a brief adrenaline rush. Many died, including 12-year-old Gabriel Crumb. His mother Dana writes, "I found him Saturday morning and there was nothing that could be done to save our precious boy. Gabriel KNEW the dangers of this 'game' we had talked about it about a year before….and his curiosity still won."
"The hot water challenge"
Self-inflicting pain really doesn’t sound appealing, but many tried this one. The "hot water challenge" was to soak a body part in boiling water or pour it on someone else. I don't think causing third degree burns is worth any social media attention.
"War Heads challenge"
War Heads are a sweet and very sour treat, which was turned into a dangerous challenge that included putting 50 in your mouth at once. This is a chocking hazard and causes taste buds to disappear.
"Salt and ice challenge"
This is a skin burn waiting to happen! Who missed chemistry class? Salt and ice mixed together causes frostbite. People would rub the combination on their skin to see the reaction. That doesn't look enjoyable!
The "Kylie Jenner Challenge"
The 17-year-old reality star's lips have been getting plenty of attention for being exaggerated and full. Teen girls have been trying to recreate her look by putting their lips inside of a bottle and sucking. Jenner has money to get her lips injected and a makeup artist who lines her lips perfectly. She's not trying this at home.
