Did you know that we have an awesome sister site called BabyName Wizard? I love it because it is a great resource for, yup, you guessed it, baby names. Anyway, I keep tabs on it regularly and recently I came across this divine list of names for baby girls that I think is fantabulous. What I love about the list is that so many of them are perfect for Latina baby girls. Because of that great list, I was inspired to come up with list of celestial, divine or shall we say heavenly baby names that are perfect for Latina girls.

What I loved about the original list that inspired my Latina-centric list is that divine is used in a loose way. Some of the names are religiously inspired, some are more spiritual and some simply have to do with the heavens. Most of these names don't need an explanation or definition, but with some I just couldn't help myself.
1. Alma (It doesn't get any more soulful than this, does it?)
2. Altagracia (One would hope that a chlid given this beautiful name would always be in high graces.)
3. Ángela (Ángela, Ángeles and Angelina all pay tribute to angels.)

6. Caridad (Charity is such a beautiful ideal to name a child after.)
7. Celestina (This name literally means heavenly.)
8. Cielo (This can mean either sky or heaven, I like to think it encompasses both.)
9. Divina
10. Epifanía (An epiphany is a manefestation of God.)
11. Esperanza
12. Estela (Estela like Estrella means star.)
13. Estrella
14. Gabriella (The feminine form of Gabriel, an archangel in the Bible.)
15. Gloria (We forget that the name Goria refers to glory, but we really shouldn't.)

24. Seraphina (This comes from seraphim who are the most powerful angels.)
25. Trinidad (Trinidad as in the Holy Trinity.)
