Amelia Vega has a bun in the oven! The former Miss Universe and husband Al Horford announced their pregnancy via Twitter yesterday and we are ecstatic! Vega and Horford have been married since 2011 and are expecting their first baby together. The Dominican beauty is expected to give birth to a baby boy in March 2015. The lovely couple confirmed the baby news with the sweetest photo ever!

In the style of a movie poster, the photo has the title "Expecting to Pop" while Amelia and Al are holding hands and popping bubble gum. They rated the movie B to keep with the theme of a baby boy. Yes, this is officially the cutest pregnancy announcement EVER! This is way more personal and creative than having a publicist release an official statement or press release announcing the news.
The couple must be over the moon about expecting their first baby. Vega shared a bilingual message to fans stating, "With great joy we announce that we are expecting our first son. A beautiful gift that we will gladly receive from our Heavenly Father in March, 2015."
Vega is putting it all out there and I love it. They are going to make one beautiful baby! Those genes are definitely meant to spread the good looks. Vega deserves all of the happiness in the world. With all of the recent celeb splits, it is nice to see some couples actually make it.
During her tenure as Miss Universe, the 29-year-old advocated for organizations like Go Red for Women, which raises funds for breast cancer research. She was also involved in the fight against AIDS. Motherhood is going to be the next big achievement and we can't wait to see the baby pics once he arrives.
