Lachlan Lever was born with hearing issues, he had moderate to severe hearing loss in both ears. Fortunately we live in amazing times where amazing things can be done to help someone like Lachlan and when he was just 7 weeks old, doctors gave him his first hearing aids. Because of the hearing aids, Lachlan was able to hear his father's voice for the first time and it was all recorded on video that would melt even the abominable snowman's heart.

This video actually brought me to tears. Lachlan was so young at the time, this happened in 2012, so he's a toddling boy now. Even at such a young age, you can read the wonder, joy and amazement in his baby face. It's truly touching and so awe-inspiring. I am so thrilled for him and his family and I have no doubt that being able to hear is a life-changer for Lachlan.
