The September issue of Glamour magazine features new mommy Oliva Wilde looking gorgeous on the cover. But as lovely as the cover is, it is a picture of her breastfeeding her son Otis on the inside of the magazine that is really catching the public's eye.
The now famous breastfeeding picture features a glammed up Wilde wearing a Roberto Cavalli dress and Prada shoes, while holding a diaper-less Otis to her breast. It's a beautiful photograph, check it out!

Wilde and her fiancé, Jason Sudeikis, became the proud parents of Otis this April and Wilde is joyfully embracing motherhood. About the photo Wilde says, "Being shot with Otis is so perfect because any portrait of me right now isn't complete without my identity as a mother being a part of that." She also said that "breastfeeding is the most natural thing"
Now before you go pointing out that although breastfeeding may be the most natural thing, that doing it while looking all glamorous wearing designer clothing and shoes is not at all natural, relax! Wilde isn't trying to pretend that the picture is a slice of reality for most women or even herself. She says, "I certainly don't really look like that when I'm [typically] breastfeeding. And there's usually a diaper involved."
I think it is a great picture and one that is bound to become a family keepsake.
