It looks like Scarlett Johansson has officially chopped all her hair off! Well not all of it, but it sure as hell was a lot. I have to admit, Scarlett Johansson is probably one of the last celebs I'd imagine taking the big chop plunge. Who would have ever thought she'd trade in those long golden locks for a short pixie cut? Could it be Scarlett's new "pregnancy haircut?" Let's face it, we're still in the middle of summer, it's hot as hell out, and pregnancy only makes you feel hotter. Who wants to deal with long hair hanging down their back?

The truth is, hassle-free cuts and hairstyles become your BFF during pregnancy. You want to look great without having to put in TOO much time and effort. Here are a few cool and easy hair management tips to consider during pregnancy–thank me later!

Don't go too drastic: A pixie cut might work perfect for a mom like Scarlett Johansson but if it doesn't work for your texture or face shape, give it a second thought. The last thing you want to do is go for a style that you won't be able to manage and that you'll most likely regret later. The point is to make yourself look like a million bucks but with less effort.

Try braids: My cousin had her long hair in lose braids throughout most of her pregnancy. They were easy to do, kept her cool and made her look effortlessly pretty. A braided headband or even a simple side braid are great options, especially for summer!

Do buns: I'm a big fan of the high bun, especially when it's sweltering hot and humid out. It keeps your hair out of your face and instantly disguises a bad hair day. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

Try headbands or head wraps: What I love about headbands and headscarves is they do a great job at covering up untouched roots, frizzy flyaways or just plain old "I don't have time to do my hair" hair.

Keep it low maintenance: Especially when it comes to cuts, make sure you're going for a low maintenance style. Once you give birth the last thing on your mind is going to be your hair. Plus, you probably won't have all that much time to primp and prime anyway, so might as well keeps things simple and manageable.
