Dad films himself trapped in a hot car, shows us the agony kids endure

I'm so proud of Terry Williams a father from North Carolina. He's had it with children dying because they were left and forgotten in hot cars, so he did something so simple that is really catching people's attention and raising awareness. He videotaped himself sitting in a hot car with the windows rolled up in 90 degree weather for 10 minutes. Seeing him melting right before your eyes has quite an impact. This is a video that you must see and share.

As I write this, the video has close to 700,000 views and has inspired others to take the hot car challenge and post their videos onto Williams' Facebook page.

William makes it clear to all who watch that it is NEVER okay to leave your child in the car. "As you can see, I'm sweating, like I can barely breathe out here, but my system is stronger than these little kids' systems," he says. He's right! As bad as it is for an adult, it's worse for a child. A child's temperature can rise three to five times faster than a grown ups and if it is 90 degrees outside, the temperature inside the car can go up 20 degrees in 10 minutes.

So mamás, watch this video, share this video and know that it is never okay to leave your kid in a hot car. It's never ever worth the risk. EVER. And if you don't believe me or Terry Williams, then go on and take the challenge yourself and see what it's like to be left in a hot car.
