Mom gives birth to 4 babies in 4 minutes!

An Irish mom recently beat all odds by giving birth to naturally conceived quadruplets—in just four minutes! That's right…as if conceiving multiples without the help of IVF isn't rare enough, Grace Slattery also managed to give birth to all four babies in only four minutes. Wow! Can we get this woman a medal or something?

The incredible birth would've been a miracle for any couple, but it's especially so for Slattery and her husband James. Why? The couple endured four miscarriages in as many years before finally giving birth to their three daughters and one son last month. They must be overjoyed!

According to IrishCentral, Slattery was due to have a C-section, but the babies apparently just couldn't wait and she ended up going into labor a day early. Though the pregnancy hadn't been easy, with Slattery being hospitalized for a total of 11 weeks throughout, the birth, thankfully, went smoothly. James, who was working at the time, was given a police escort to be with his wife and arrived just in time. Amelia, Lily Grace, Mollie, and Lucas were all born within minutes of each other at 3:54 p.m., weighing in at a range of 2 pounds, 15 ounces to 4 pounds, 3 ounces. Aww!

The happy mom, who already had one other child, took to Facebook to announce the news, writing, "All came out kicking and screaming and all are doing well at the moment…. Thanks for all yer good wishes and keep praying for babies xxxx. Our family of 3 is now a family of 7!!! Amazing [sic]."

What a great story! I'm so glad to hear that both mom and babies are doing OK. Raising four kids at once is no easy feat, but after all they've been through, I'm sure the couple will cherish every precious moment with their newborns. Congrats to the entire family!
