A Louisiana mom recently beat one-in-a-million odds by giving birth to a set of naturally-conceived identical triplets.
Kimberly Cosey-Watts had her last baby over a decade ago and didn't think she could have kids again, so the last thing that the 35-year-old-mom was expecting to hear was that she was pregnant again. Just imagine her complete and utter shock then when she discovered that she and her husband, Lavexwin Watts, were about to welcome THREE baby girls—an occurrence so rare, even her doctors were stunned!

But while both parents were initially taken aback by the news, they now couldn't be more thrilled. "We just got picked like the lottery," Cosey-Watts told KVUE.
The mom gave birth to her new little bundles of joy on May 10th, 11 weeks before she was due. The pregnancy up until that point had not been easy. According to reports, the mom had been in the hospital for six weeks by the time she went into labor and had almost lost the girls on three separate occasions earlier in the pregnancy. Thankfully through, the birth went smoothly, with the babies being born at 3 pounds each.
While the triplets, Edith, Cherish, and Harmony, are still being held in neonatal intensive care unit, they are expected to be released in the next few weeks. Meanwhile, mom and dad are just happy that they seem to be progressing steadily. "I'm just glad that I was the vessel that they chose to enter, you know, that God chose me to be their mother," she said. "It doesn't matter financially if we can do it. Nothing else matters. It just matters that they're surviving."
Aww! I'm just glad to hear that both mom and her beautiful little girls are OK, especially after what seemed like a difficult pregnancy. Raising three kids at once will no doubt be a challenge, but there's also a ton of great memories headed their way. I hope they all get to go home soon so they can start enjoying some quality time together as a family. Congrats to the happy parents!
