It is true that Sarah Thistlethwaite spent almost 60 days in total bed rest waiting for the arrival of her twins, but the sacrifice was well worth it when she welcomed two beautiful and healthy baby girls that are real proof that miracles do happen. The mother of 15-month-old Jaxon, had once been told that she would not be able to conceive. Imagine the overwhelming dissapointment.
Fortunately, this is a happy story but, I assure you, one that will bring tears to your eyes, and I HAD TO SHARE it with you. Keep reading, see the photo below, and prepare to be amazed…

Thistlethwaite, a teacher in Orville, Ohio, had the best Mother's Day celebrating the arrival of her bundles of joy. The girls were born via C-section at the Akron General Medical Center and their birth was documented in photos that will be the most beautiful thing you see today for sure.
During gestation, the babies shared one amniotic sac within their mom's uterus, a phenomenom called mono mono twins (or monoamniotic twins). This pregnancy is a rare ocurrence to say the least, happening in 1 of 60,000 pregnancies, and one that is considered of high risk. Fortunately for this young mom and her husband Bill, Jenna and Jillian were born with no complications at week 33 and two days. They're expected to stay at the hospital for a few weeks before they can go home to join big brother Jaxon.
What's most amazing about this incredible story is the photo shared by the hospital (see below), a photo that captures the position in which the girls came into the world: holding hands! "They're already best friends. I can't believe they were holding hands. That's amazing", Thistlethwaite told the Akron Beacon Journal.
I can't help but cry thinking about the strong bond Jenna and Jillian formed during the time they shared an amniotic sac in their mom's womb. They say the relationship between twin siblings is unique, and what better evidence than the photo below to confirm such a statement. I hope these sisters treasure that bond forever.
