If you're a mom who uses baby monitors to check on your little one, then you need to hear about this latest recall. Summer Infantis recalling 800,000 of their rechargeable baby video monitors which include 15 of their products such as the Baby Touch, Safe Light, and Slim & Secure monitors.

So far the Consumer Product Safety have received 22 complaints about this happening to consumers, including minor property damage. The monitors, which cost between $150 to $350, are said to have been sold at Babies "R" Us between February 2010 until February 2012.
However the latest battery safety hazard has the company worried that it can harm both babies and their parents. If you own one of these baby monitors, the batteries in question are black in color and marked with "TCL." The codings labeled on the batteries are as follows JNN-S150A, JNN-S150B, JNN-S150C, JNS150-BA, JNS150-BB, JNS150-BC, and JNS150A.
Reportedly over 58,000 batteries for the product were recalled in 2011 for similar reasons. The company is advising consumers to take out the batteries and to call Summer Infant for a replacement battery.
