World’s first married threesome are having a baby

When it comes to love, I don't like to judge. After all, you can't help who you fall in love with. But what about when three people fall in love with each other? Doll, Kitten and Brynn are a married lesbian threesome who are now expecting their first child. Kitten underwent IVF treatment using an anoynymous sperm donor and will be giving birth to the trio's daughter come July. Now there's something you don't see everyday.

When I first heard about Doll, Kitten and Brynn, my initial question was: How did these three get together in the first place? And how in the world did they manage to get legally married? Well it's a pretty long story. Brynn and Doll met back in 2009 through an online dating site. They dated for a while, moved in together and purchased a home together. But since they both agreed they were polygamous, they decided to add another woman to the mix. They set up an account on OKCupid.com looking for a third woman and that's how they found Kitten, who apparently fit right in.

The three of them instantly hit it off and within a few months Kitten had moved in with them. Two years later, Kitten proposed the idea of married. So they did, all in matching white wedding gowns. As unusual as this trio may sound, the three of them insist their marriage is just as normal as anyone else's.

"The only difference is that communication is a lot more difficult for us than others. There are three people so our relationship takes detailed scheduling–everything we do goes on the calendar!" Doll told the U.K.'s DailyMail. As far as the legality of their marriage goes, they had a family lawyer draw up the paper work so that Brynn and Kitten are legally married and Doll is bonded to both.

It seems complicated but not nearly as complicated as their child-bearing situation. They plan on using each other's eggs and sperm donors to continue growing their family–and adoption is also on the table. And to avoid bullying by peers, they will be homeschooling their kids. I guess you can say there's no such thing as a normal family these days!
