This past weekend was INSANE! First of all, I can no longer travel by plane, so my good friend Sandy and I drove to Los Angeles from Arizona for my baby shower. And thank goodness I did, because I was able to bring all of my gifts back with me instead of shipping them.
My shower was so AWESOME! I didn't want it to be the traditional "baby" shower–I wanted glam, bling, glitter and diamonds galore (you guys know I love sparkly things)! And event planner Diann Valentine did an amazing job!

From the DJ Booth to the shot bar, ice cream machine and sexy men giving all my girlfriends massages (¡qué rico!) it was definitely an unforgettable night!
With less than a month to go before I welcome my baby boy, I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude and humbled by all of the wonderful people I have in my life. I have so many people to thank for my amazing baby shower. I want to thank my hostesses__Teresa Caldwell__, Shaunie O'Neal, Danika Berry and my beautiful daughter, Shaniece. The games were fun, the awesome personal video my daughter made for me was heartfelt and my jeweled trees were to die for!
Also, having my mom, sister, aunt, neices and close friends on hand to celebrate my little "Peanut" means the world to me. Both of my abuelas were in the building (and you know abuelitas know how to party!).
In addition to thanking my family and friends for my amazing shower, some companies provided some incredible swag and goodies for my guests (including some scrumptious bling candy apples!). My gift bags were fabulous!!!
Ladies, if you decide to have a shower, do something out of the ordinary. Let your hair down! Don't be so traditional and be a trendsetter!!!
