
Tell me that this picture of Ivy Queen and her baby girl isn't adorable! Yay for social media or else we wouldn't get to see this cuteness. This is a picture of the reggaeton diva's painted toenails and her bitty bitty baby girl's painted toe nails too. Ivy Queen's daughter, Naiovy Kháli Star, is a little over two months old and as adorable as this picture is one of the first things I thought was, I really hope that is non-toxic nail polish on that baby's toes.
Which got me thinking about traditional nail polishes, which are full of toxic chemicals and you really don't want to expose a baby to that nastiness. Not to worry, there are other alternatives. We hope Ivy Queen used one of these alternatives on little Naiovy!

What makes many nail polishes dangerous are three substances known as the toxic trio: formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate (DBP). This stuff is "fuchi" bad as in cancer causing, bad for reproductive systems, and so on and so forth, so you want to keep your kids away from it. Quite frankly it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to stay away from it as well.
