Pregnancy is supposed to be a beautiful experience and I really want to continue to feel sexy throughout my pregnancy and really make this a wonderful time!

If you're currently pregnant and feeling a little frumpy, ¡no te preocupes! I have tips to help you feel (and look) good during this monumental time!

__1. __Think Positive About Your Body: The one thing that helps me feel good about my body while pregnant is my firm, round butt! It has grown a lot since I found out I was pregnant and instead of hating this, I'm embracing every moment. I also love my hair and nails because they seem healthier and stronger.

__2. __Have sex: Yes, this may seem strange to some, but don't stop your sex life just because you are expecting. This will make you feel good about your body and your new look. However, if this is out of the question for you, then get pregnancy massages and major hugs from your honey!!!

3. Keep up your hands and feet: I know you may be tired, but please keep your nails up. There is nothing like looking down at your hands and feet feeling relieved about how beautiful they are!

4. Get your hair done: I love a good blowout!  Having my hair done weekly or bi-weekly keeps me feeling beautiful! Don't you just love fresh hair?

__5. __Wear a little makeup: Don't walk around bare faced, wear a hint of makeup. Even bronzer, mascara and gloss if you don't want a full face. My advice to you is LOOK ALIVE!!!

__6. __Stay confident: I know you are tired, so am I! But, keep your confidence level up. There is nothing worse than having super low confidence while pregnant; we have enough to worry about.

__7. __Heighten your pregnancy wardrobe: Listen, I don't wear maternity clothes. I love tops that hug my tummy and show off my bump. I think it's cute! Maternity clothes make me feel old and frumpy and I'm thinking of creating a sexy maternity line–why not? Pregnant women need to feel beautiful, wear gorgeous prints and nice solids. Don't conceal your bump! Wear it with pride!

¡Un abrazo, mujeres!

Back in 2010, Evelyn joined the cast of VH1's hit series Basketball Wives, where she became an overnight star with one-liners like, "You're a non-mutha******* factor bi***" (which became a popular slogan and led to a "non-factor" T-shirt, among other things). She also released a popular T-Shirt (which we want to buy!) called, "You ain't about this life." Ev was EASILY the show's most popular star, because, unlike some of the other ladies, she ALWAYS kept it real!

In June of 2012, after a LOT of drama on Basketball Wives, Evelyn took some time off and wrote a touching letter to her 7-year-old self entitled, "I Will Try To Be Better." In the letter, published on The Huffington Post, Evelyn apologized for some of her behavior on the show and recalled the days when she "drowned out the fighting and drama" in her own house as a child.

Goodbye, Chad

Although she loved Chad at the time, Evelyn decided to end her marriage to the former FNL star after he assaulted her. "Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well. I’m grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult time," she wrote at the time.

In September of 2013, Evelyn launched her foundation Pain is Not Love, which focuses on helping women affected by domestic violence. So how involved is Ev with the foundation? Let's just say she writes back to almost EVERY victim who writes her and gives them advice (she's even met with victims in person to offer advice and help them heal). Talk about an inspiring Latina!

Cover Girl

In August of 2013, Evelyn posed for the cover of Latina Magazine, joining past cover girls like Jennifer Lopez, Salma Hayek, Zoe Saldana and Shakira. "This is a dream come true," she gushed at the time. She looked stunning!

What started out as reality TV stardom for Evelyn has evolved into a career that includes her own makeup line, Vida Lux, an endorsement deal with the age-defying solution YouthH2O, and a deal to be the face of PearlBrite teeth whitening. She also bared her skin for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). Way to go, Ev!

Evelyn has grown tremendously over the last two years and her transformation has made her extremely happy. But it's not enough to her to be happy herself–she also wants her fellow Latinas (and fellow moms) to be happy as well. So, despite her VERY busy schedule and myriad of projects, Ev joined MamasLatinas.com in August as our "Mommy Makeover" blogger, writing a weekly blog about motherhood and beauty and connecting directly with our MamasLatinas readers. That's what we love most about Ev: She's always thinking of others!

Fixed Her Life

The moment Evelyn noticed that her behavior on Basketball Wives was influencing her nieces, the reality star met with life coach Iyanla VanZant (of the OWN network show Iyanla: Fix My Life). During the emotional interview, Evelyn revealed that her greatest fear was "losing it all." She explained that she was no longer afraid of losing it all and that she wanted better for herself and she proved what we already knew: that she's a badass who confronts her problems head on!

Last but not least, the Puerto Rican star announced some VERY happy news: She is six months pregnant with her second child! if Shaniece is any indication, this baby is going to be BEAUTIFUL, smart, and talented! We can't to see Ev as a new mom. Happy birthday, Ev!
