What kind of a nut would give the internet the power to name his baby girl? Surely, the person would have to be out of their mind. Maybe or maybe they just have a lot of misguided faith in cyber-strangers. One man expecting a baby girl around April 2 of this year, who goes by digitalgecko on Reddit, admits that he is a "Crazy" man trying to let the internet name his daughter. Apparently, his wife knows about this and is letting him do it. He created a website, NameMyDaughter.com, where you, I, and anyone with access to the internet can go and suggest or vote on a first and middle name for his upcoming bundle of joy. I'm scared, really scared for this child. I mean, what do you think people are suggesting?

Some of the stranger names that are currently on the top of the possible first and middle names list are: Megatron, Not Zelda, Slagathor, Streetlamp, and Titanium. Oohkaaay!
Now, before you go and think that this man is totally wackadoodle and should not be allowed to name much less care for a child, he does have this disclaimer on the website: "Unfortunately internet I know better than to trust you. We will ultimately be making the final decision, Alas my daughter shall not be named WackyTaco692." Well, that's good. I would never want to be totally beholden to the interwebs, would you?
The last time I checked to see what the name contender is, this is what I found:
Aww, Internets, that's not so bad. Amelia All-Spark McLaughlin has a certain ring to it. I realize that All-spark is unconventional, but I sort of like it. It's like an affirmation of sorts.
Regardless of what the baby is named, I wish her a safe and healthy birth!
