Latina mom is having her own daughter’s baby!

Julia Navarro is giving her daughter and her son-in-law the ultimate love gift: she's carrying their child for them as a gestational surrogate. The couple had a really hard time getting pregnant and after three years trying, many miscarriages and other possibilities of surrogates falling through, Lorena McKinnon's mom decided to do what only a truly loving and selfless mother would.

"As a family, we have to help each other," the 58-year-old Navarro told The Salt Lake Tribune. And I know exactly what she's talking about, but this is huge no matter how much you love your family!

Although doctors told them there was only a 45 percent chance that they'be able to implant the fertilized embryo successfully, it all worked out and the soon-to-be grandmother says she's had a good pregnancy. The baby girl she's carrying will be Navarro's first grandchild.

I can only imagine how incredibly grateful McKinnon will always be for the amazing gift her mother has given her. Their mother-daughter bond will only strengthen thanks to this awesome sacrifice on the part of Navarro and I'm sure that abuela, hija and nieta will share a very special relationship.

I'm not really sure how one goes about explaining something like this to a child once they're old enough to understand, but I guess that, ultimately, it's just the perfect example of true and unconditional love.

We wish this unconventional family the best and we can't wait to hear all about the birth of their baby girl in just a few weeks!
