The top baby names for both boys and girls don't seem to change a lot from one year to the next, so we're not going to try predicting those. Instead, we've come up with a list of baby names that we think will become popular this year, even if they don't necessarily make it to the top 10 list.
Check them out and tell us what you think below!

Boys:
- Francis: Any and all variations of the name in honor of Pope Francis. Think Francisco, Frank, Franklin, Frankie, Francesco.
- George: As in Prince George, the most awaited member of the British royalty born in 2013. Jorge would be the version in Spanish, which for some reason sounds less stuffy that George.
- Milan: After the most awaited Latino baby of 2013: Shakira and Piqués' beautiful baby boy.
- Antonio: Such a masculine and traditional name for a boy, chosen by Devious Maids star and our very own Baby Daze blogger Paula Garces.
- Christian: The 50 Shades of Grey movie won't come out until February of next year, but there'll be so much buzz about it beforehand that we won't be surprised if Christian gets more and more popular.
Girls:
- Frances: We predict that naming your child in honor of the Pope will also become popular when it comes to girl names. Francesca is my favorite variation of the name, but it can also be Francine and Francisca.
- Luna: As in Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem's little girl who was born the same day as Prince George expect that the parents kept it very quiet.
- Carmen: A powerful name chosen by another Spaniard, Hilaria Baldwin, wife of Alec Baldwin.
- North: I hope we're wrong about this name and any other related to the compass, but knowing how people like to emulate celebrities, we wouldn't be surprised if more babies born with directional names like North (West, East, South) this year.
- Jenni: Although it has been a year since La Diva de la Banda's shocking death, she will continued to be remembered in the Latino world.
