Hollywood baby boom: Check out these pregnant stars!

Kelly Clarkson is pregnant! The singer, who married husband Brandon Blackstock just last month, took to Twitter to publicly announce her happy news.

"I'm pregnant!!" she wrote. " Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :)" Aww! Well, clearly they didn't waste any time. As a fan of Clarkson though, I couldn't be more thrilled for her!

Though it might seem a little quick considering the two have only been married for a month, the announcement isn't too surprising as Clarkson has been really open about her desire to have kids. "I want babies!" she revealed in a radio interview in late October. "Everybody keeps saying, 'What do you want for Christmas?' And I'm like, 'I want to be pregnant.' " Looks like her wish came true!

This will be Clarkson's first child and I have no doubts she'll be a great mom. After all, she is already a stepmom to Blackstock's son and daughter from a previous marriage.

But she's not the only star who is expecting a baby. It seems like Hollywood is once again in the midst of a baby boom! Check out a few other stars that announced their pregnancies this year:
