Two brothers recently took it upon themselves to make their mom's 55th birthday extra special by giving her a present she'll definitely never forget. Instead of giving her just any regular ol' gift, they decided to take a trip into the past and visit some of their favorite childhood spots, recreating some hilarious family photos for her along the way! And trust me when I say, the results are a must-see.

Using the older photos as inspiration, the two siblings, now all grown up, trraveled to some past family vacation spots in Romania and mimicked the exact poses they once struck as kids, in front of each location. Then, they laid each photo (the old and new) in a side-by-side comparison and uploaded to them to Reddit, where it's quickly gone viral–and it's easy to see why! They did a great job! From using certain props (like a purple jacket held in one photo) down to imitating their own past expressions and hand gestures, the similarities are pretty amazing.
Personally, I love this idea! It's so fun and thoughtful and such an original present to give to a parent. And while entire project clearly required some work, I think it's an incredibly sweet gesture on their part and I'm sure that their mom really appreciated their efforts. After all, what parent doesn't love taking a stroll down memory lane and remembering their kids when they were little?
