ChrissyKnott and Annie Johnston have a special bond that most sisters can't say they have. Being the eldest of the two, 37-year-old Chrissy decided to be the surrogate mother for her 34-year-old sister who had been struggling for years to have a baby.
After unsuccessful rounds of invitro-fertilization, Chrissy volunteered to help Annie out. However after doing so, they received an even bigger surprise that gives this story an even happier ending.

Chrissy was already the mother of two boys but when she offered to carry Annie's baby, both women had two embryos implanted to increase the chances of at least having one baby. Instead the sisters ended up with 4!
Weeks later they discovered that they were BOTH pregnant, but little did they know the big surprise coming to them. After an ultrasound during their seven-week mark, both Annie and Chrissy learned that they were each expecting a set of twins.
At first the Johnston family didn't know how they were going to handle four babies, but lucky for them the Knotts lived nearby and had the help of Chrissy and Annie's parents. The sisters officially gave birth on October 24 of this year and respectively had two boys and two girls.
The Johnston's are now proud parents of healthy babies, Charles, Thomas, Hadley, and Grace. Wow talk about one big happy family! This is such an amazing story that took such a positive turn. What Chrissy did for her sister is something so unique that she probably even feels a stronger bond with her nieces and nephews. I'm sure both sisters have their hands tied these days caring for these adorable quadruplets!
