Two little girls in Utah were out for a joy ride in Barbie's pink toy Jeep when it ran out of battery juice. What did the two sisters do? Did they call a toy tow truck or ask someone for a tow? Nope, the 7 and 9-year old girls left the toy vehicle illegally parked on their street. That night while the girls slept, an officer out patrolling the Cedar Hills neighborhood saw the abandoned Jeep left out on the street and blocking a driveway. As an officer he is sworn to do his duty and he did.

The next morning the two sisters and their father found the toy Jeep with a bright orange abandoned vehicle tag on it. The notice was made out to "Barbie" as the vehicle is obviously a Barbie Jeep. Fortunately, the notice was just a prank and carries no fine or consequence.
I love it and I love the unidentified cop who left it. What a great way to interact with the public and let residents know that you are keeping an eye on their neighborhood at night. Also, what a fabulous way to teach children to put their expensive toys away where they belong.
Now, just so you know, the little girls admit to leaving the toy vehicle on the sidewalk, they have no idea how it ended up making its way to the road. Perhaps they forgot to put the parking break on?
