PBS Parents Play and Learn: This app is chock-full of learning games and activities perfect for toddlers and proschoolers. Each can be played at different levels of difficulty, depending on your kid's age, and some even allow parents to play along with your kids. Plus, all are available in both English and Spanish.

StudyBlue Flashcards: Need to memorize a bunch of facts fast? This app allows you to make your own flashcards and share them with friends.

Evernote: Older kids who need to keep track of a lot class notes need to look no further than this app! You can type in and synchronize your notes, voice memos, and photos and transfer from your iPhone to computer. Plus, you can tag and search your notes so they're easy to find when you need them.

NASA App: Is your child a space fan? NASA's official app contains more than 10,000 images, footage, and feature stories, among other informative factors.
