This stroller on steroids is perfect for dads!

Czech Republic car manufacturer ŠKODA created what looks like a baby buggy on steroids and is being refered to as the "Mega Man-Pram" for an ad campaign. This testosterone infused stroller has hydraulic suspension, 20-inch allow wheels, mirrors, anti-stress grips, and a headlamp. I'm surprised that it doesn't come equipped with the ability to tow other less powerful buggies.

Sadly, this monster buggy will not be available at any retailers near you anytime soon, but maybe it should be. This concept buggy was inspired by a poll commissioned by ŠKODA that found that more than a third of fathers are embarrassed by regular strollers and a quarter of them said they make their partners push the stroller when they are on walks together.

Poor dads, they're kind of screwed. Marketing for baby products is largely geared towards mothers and let's face it, no matter how much you believe in the equality of the sexes, most men just aren't drawn to the same things women are aesthetically. They don't really want to carry around a floral diaper bag or push an adorable stroller around.

I do worry about a stroller like this producing some kind of stroller rage though. Can you imagine? Fathers trying to push past each other while taking their kids out for a stroll and getting all mad and competitive.

There are no actual plans to market this manly buggy, but there seems to be a market out there for it. Someone get on it and tap into the male market for baby-related products.
