Leave it to Fergie to have the coolest baby shower ever! The 38-year-old Black Eyed Peas singer, who is expecting her first child with handsome hubby, Josh Duhamel celebrated her "gayby" shower this Sunday at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles and she left her gay besties to throw it–hence the unique name. They had everything from burlesque drag performers to "The Hot Mamma" Fergie-inspired cocktails to celebrate the impending birth of their baby boy. Before I get into all the fun party deets, we have to talk about how adorable Fergie looked. She showed up in a super chic, form-fitted printed dress that really showed off that beautiful pregnant bod. In one of the pics, she was holding up a talking bubble to her tummy that said, "Say my name." I've always found Fergie incredibly pretty, but is it me or has her pregnancy had her glowing more than ever? I don't think this chica has had a single bad hair or skin day since she's announced her pregnancy. So Lucky!
Okay now back to the party. You can TOTALLY tell that gay men threw this baby shower just based on all the little details that were included. First of all, there were burlesque drag perfomers. The theme was black, white, and blue, and don't get me started on that fabulous four-tiered cake designed by Dylan Lauren of Dylan's Candy Bar that was adorned with a teddy bear and tons of lollipops. But what really helped get this party started was the guest list. Fergie had a fun filled list of guests including Kelly Osbourne, Adam Lambert, Molly Sims, Lance Bass, Fashion Police's George Kotsiopoulos, and the truly fabulous Perez Hilton, who brought his baby son Mario Armando Lavandeira III. Awww!!!
Based on some of the pics Fergie has already posted up on her Twitter account, I think it's safe to assume she had a freaking blast. Heck, kind of makes me wish I was pregnant just so I can have a "gayby" shower too!
