Kate Middleton and Prince William are close to being parents as it was confirmed that the Duchess of Cambridge went into labor this morning. The long awaited birth of the Royal Baby has kept the public and media on watch since Kate was reported to be set to have her baby in mid-July. She was finally taken to St. Mary's Hospital in London where she is expected to give birth in the Lindo Wing, the same place Princess Diana gave birth to Prince William and Harry.

It is unknown if the Duchess of Cambridge will be having a little girl or boy, but one thing for sure is Prince William has wanted to be by his wife's side when she went into labor. According to Fox News' royal correspondent, Paul Harrison, Middleton is said to be doing well and things are progressing normally.
Reportedly the mom-to-be is a couple of days over her due date, but that has yet to be confirmed. When she does give birth, the baby's gender, weight, and time of birth will be released to the public, but his or her name is to be kept under wraps until further notice. The baby's name will be revealed adhering to tradition with a royal aide presenting the news by posting a bulletin on Buckingham Palace for the public to see.
After a difficult early pregnancy for Kate Middleton, we're sure that she's ready to deliver her little bundle of joy. The royal baby continues to trend on all social media, because everyone is on pins and needles awaiting the arrival of the little prince or princess lined up to be the next heir.
