If you've even been told that you're acting like your mother, there may be some truth to it. A poll run by Dottybingo.com discovered that more than half of women become like their moms in their early 30's. It turns out our interests, attitudes, and tastes start to imitate that of our mothers, hence why we end up becoming like them.
For some women this may be the ultimate nightmare, but for others (like me) it may be a good thing!

The U.K. Telegraph reports that the poll was done because the site saw that over 80 percent of bingo players that were women shared their mothers' hobby. More than 1,000 women were surveyed to see what they had in common with their moms and the results were quite shocking.
The data that showed that about 52 percent of women become like their moms between the ages of 30 and 35. In this group, 27 percent of women agreed that they are most like their moms at 31. Only five percent said they became like their moms in their 20's, while 26 percent said they were like her in their late 30's, and 10 percent during middle age. More than a third of women said that becoming a mom was a turning point which caused them to behave a lot more like their moms.
Not surprisingly__, more than 50 percent of women agreed that their mamis were the most inspirational women__ in their lives. And I couldn't agree more! I know the stigma attached to becoming like your mom is a bad thing, but I wouldn't mind becoming like mine at all.
As I've gotten older I notice how alike my mom and I really are. There are certain qualities like her inability to listen to me the first time I say things, or her guilt trips I'd prefer were left out … but I guess there's no other choice if you become like your mom. I can only speak for myself, but if you grew up with a supportive and loving mom, becoming like them isn't necessarily a bad thing. Now I know what to look forward to in my 30's. I just hope my future husband can handle it.
