Scottish mom Karen Rodgerrecently defied all odds by giving birth to her THIRD set of twins last Wednesday–even though typically the chances of that happening are about 500,000 to 1.
Rodger and her husband Colin welcomed baby girls Isla and Rowan, who have four older brothers–14-year-old twins Lewis and Kyle, and 12-year-old twins Finn and Judge. Wow, talk about a crazy coincidence!

The 41-year-old mother says she was trying for one more child because she didn't feel like the family was "complete." So she was stunned when she learned she was having another two at a scan six weeks into the pregnancy. "I just could not believe it. It never crossed my mind that it would be twins again," she told Metro UK.
And her husband was even more surprised. When she texted him to let him know the big announcement, he assumed she was joking and responded by saying, "This is not funny." Ha! I don't blame him. It definitely must have been a big shock!
But though the couple clearly wasn't expecting the news, both were ecstatic to welcome two new kids into the family. And because they hadn't known the sex of the babies beforehand, they were even more thrilled to discover they were girls! "The girls are only a few days old so I'm still getting my head around the fact that there will be more girls in the house, people to steal my sparkly shoes and my makeup," Rodger said.
Aww, what an amazing story! Though I think it's safe to say that the Rodgers will definitely have their hands full with so many kids in the house, it must be wonderful to have another set of beautiful and healthy twins in the family. Besides, with four older brothers, those two little girls will have plenty of people to watch over them as they grow up!
