Homeland* star Morena Baccarinannounced that she is pregnant and we couldn't be happier! The 33-year-old Brazilian actress confirmed to People magazine that she and her 41-year-old husband, director and writer Austin Chick, are expecting their first child together.

The actress has already had some practice with motherhood as she plays a mom in her role as Jessica Brody on the Emmy-winning Showtime drama.One of the issues that may be of concern is how the writers are going to add her real life pregnancy to her role. This probably won't be hard as Baccarin's character had an affair with another man while she thought her hubby was dead. ¡Escándalo!
Her latest pregnancy news couldn't have been more perfectly timed as her future son or daughter probably already has playdates set with her co-star Claire Danes' 5-month-old son, Cyrus! It would be cute to watch them playing on set while both of their mommies go over their lines.
We can't wait to see Baccarin's baby bump grow as she starts experiencing the beauty of motherhood. And something tells me that she's going to be a low key yet fashionable mommy-to-be who is going to be photographed to no end.
I'm pretty sure the Brazilian beauty is going to be excellent as a mom and now is the perfect time for her to practice her motherly duties through her role on the show. I mean, she's a mom of two on her show and has reportedly taught her on-screen daughter to cook, so that's gotta be a good sign right?
