Though meant to help you wipe your iPhone in case it’s lost or stolen, I’ve used the beeping feature to find my phone at home. If you're curious, you can even add your kids' Apple devices and it tells you where they are. iTunes

There are days when cooking is just not an option. I order food before I leave the office, enter a desired delivery time, and food is there when I get home. I’ve you live in an area serviced by FreshDirect, use it! I’ve ordered groceries while I wait to see a doctor or late at night. You can even scan products you’re running low on and reorder them. This iPad app is helpful when I’m looking for sales at some of my favorite stores: Tory Burch, Zara, and CB2. I can mark items I don’t want to pay full-price for and have the app watch it until it goes on sale. Awesome. iTunes

This app is a life-saver. I’ve put common items–detergent, soap, toilet paper, toothpaste– on a subscription, depending on how often we need them. Now I don’t have to worry about buying toilet paper while my son is yelling for some in the bathroom. amazon.com
Urgent Clothes Shopping: Zappos
Sometimes I just don’t have time to shop for a dress or shoes for an event. This is my go-to app. If you have VIP status, your order comes the next day. Zappos also gives you up to a year to return the item if you’re unhappy with it. zappos.com
