It doesn't surprise me at all that Kim Kardashian could be making a mind-blowing $16 million off of her pregnancy. Ever since her and boyfriend, Kanye West confirmed they were expecting their first child together, there's been a ton of stories circling around the reality star's baby bump. There are pictures taken of her daily that show of her pregnancy style and she does a morning segment appearance on the regular. Also, let's not forget the fact that Kim monetizes everything! She made $17.9 million just on her wedding alone even though it wound up only lasting her 72 days. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Kim or anything. I actually think the woman is pretty smart when it comes to business and money making anyway. I'm also really happy that she's going to have a baby. But seriously, $16 million JUST for her pregnancy? That's totally insane!

According to the Evening Standard, Kim has been in the talks about filming every single thing that has to do with her pregnancy, even though she's still not sure whether or not she wants her actual labor documented. She's also had brands reach out to her with potential deals to endorse tons of mommy-to-be and baby products. Rumor has it that Kim's set to receive her supposed millions after she finally gives birth.
I find this incredibly ridiculous especially, considering that Kim has only spent a reported 18 days with her baby daddy, Kanye since the news of her pregnancy broke, according to Us Weekly. Now I'm not suggesting that Kim got pregnant for the money. But I really wouldn't be surprised if the constant spotlight on her pregnancy has put a strain on her relationship with Kanye. I don't think a single day goes by without a story on her. Let's take today for instance: Everyone has already been talking about the black jumpsuit Kim stepped out in the other day. Yes, I'll admit she actually looked pretty cute, but this proves my point exactly.
Honestly, I get that this is how she makes a living and all, but no one should be cashing in that kind of money just because their pregnant. It's really not THAT serious. Do these Kardashians keep anything sacred? Not to mention, you'd think Kim would have learned from her highly publicized, over-the-top wedding to keep certain things private. I guess not.
