When Florida dad Dennis Meyers woke up to the sound of his daughter screaming and found an intruder in her bedroom, he sprung right into action. The courageous father grabbe__d the stranger, who was reportedly trying to kidnap his 16-month-old girl from her crib, and threw her out of the house__ by her hair and neck.
Can you imagine that?! Most people would've screamed like hell or called the police first, but this guy didn't even think twice before taking matters into how own hands. Talk about a brave move!
The terrifying ordeal occurred early Saturday morning, when Meyers and his wife heard their oldest daughter, Jayden, let out a bloodcurdling scream. When the two ran into their daughters' shared room, they found Megan Jones, a woman with an extensive criminal history, standing there with Jayden's baby sister in her arms.

"Next thing I know he's pulling some lady out of there. I'm standing there like in shock, and all I hear her saying is 'It's not what it looks like!' " Meyers' wife, Jennie, said.
Meyers threw the woman, who was apparently drunk and high, out of the house and tried to chase her down. Later, he told police he purposely didn't use deadly force because he didn't want his wife and kids to witness it and remain traumatized. Hear that, folks? This man managed to get rid of the threat without pulling out a gun or completely losing all self control. It is possible!
Jones is now being held in jail with no bond. And though Jennie says both girls are (understandably) still a little shaken up and have been sleeping with their parents since the incident, the important thing is that they are all safe–thanks to their incredibly brave and quick-thinking dad.
