We are so nervous and exited! Our beloved Shakira is in the hospital already, ready to give birth to her first baby with Spanish soccer star Gerard Piqué, as was confirmed in Spain by news agency EFE, Hola.com, and Cataluña's main daily, La Vanguardia.
The Colombian singer arrived at the Teknon clinic in Barcelona in a black SUV with tinted windows, which was being driven by her brother Tonino. Hola.com published the image of the petite Colombiana, which you see above.
We must say it in Spanish also: ¡Qué emoción!
According to La Vanguardia, one of Spain's most renowned dailies, Shakira will give birth via C-section, which is logical considering her pregnancy was initially considered high-risk due to the singer's toxoplasmosis diagnosis.
As was expected, Shakira, who is very open with her fans, just tweeted asking all her followers to pray for her. She wrote: "I'd like to ask you all to accompany me in your prayers on this very important day of my life. Shak"
Spanish press confirmed that the SUV arrived at the hospital through the delivery and freight entrance, in order to hide from the prying eyes and camera flashes of the paparazzi photographers, though they didn't totally manage to evade them.
We hope the birth of the most awaited baby in the world goes smoothly and quickly! We offer our prayers and our most positive thoughts to the proud parents-to-be! And we can't wait for more news!!!
