Restaurant manager makes incredibly sweet gesture for pregnant mom!

If you're having a bad day, this story is sure to cheer you up and restore some of your faith in humanity.  A restaurant manager in North Carolina recently surprised a very pregnant woman with a super sweet gesture that brought a smile to her face–and will definitely do the same for you!

It all started when the woman (who was actually past her due date) and her husband were dining  with their two-year-old-son at a local Red Robin eatery.  As they were eating, the friendly manager came over to talk to the family and joke about the woman's ready-to-pop belly.  The couple thought nothing of it…that is, until they received their bill and were surprised to see a deduction for $11.50 (the equivalent of the mom's meal), along with the note, "MOM 2 BEE GOOD LUC." Aww! Okay, maybe it's not all that grammatically correct, but still…isn't that so sweet?!

And apparently, it made the woman's day too as her husband told The Consumerist, "It was a pleasant surprise and made my tired of being pregnant wife a little more cheery."

What a genuinely nice thing to do! I seriously wish I could find this manager and give him a big hug. With so many recent stories of waiters using receipts to make mean comments and leave rude notes, it's an encouraging change to see that someone's actually using them to do a good deed and wish somebody well.  I only hope more people take note of his actions and follow this guy's example!
