Why wasn’t the Baby Mop available when my kids were crawlers?

Have you heard of the Baby Mop? If you haven't and you currently have a baby in the crawling stage, you're going to want to run to your laptop and order one immediately. As you can see from the photo, the Baby Mop is an ingenious invention that comes in the form of a one-piece (also known as a sleep and play) with mop heads attached to its arms and legs. What is it for? Well, basically, to kill two birds with one stone: your baby crawls and in the process he mops the floors!

Oh, what I would've given to get my babies to help me clean the house instead of constantly making it a mess!

The outfit, made by BetterThanPants.com after getting the inspiration from a Japanese ad spoof from the 90s, is only $40 a piece, but imagine how much time and money you'll be saving. I'm so jealous of moms with crawlers right now! Why couldn't this product be available when mine were babies? My life would've been so much easier!

In case you're not fully convinced this romper is something your baby needs to be wearing on a daily basis, just check out the top 5 reasons its creators believe you should buy one now:

  1. Teach your baby a strong work ethic early on in their life.
  2. Your baby will learn not to drop and waste food.
  3. Baby will get a nice workout, burn off energy, and do muscle toning. And sleep better too!
  4. Not having to clean your floors saves you time so you can spend it doing things you enjoy.
  5. Save lots of money on house cleaning costs.

I'm thinking #3 would be reason enough, no?

Ok, ok, I know some people out there will be outraged at the idea of putting their baby in an outfit like this one. I wouldn't have done it either, but this would surely make a heck of a statement as a baby shower gift! Hmm… let me think… do I know anyone who's pregnant?
