Parents always say that their kids grow up too fast for their liking! That's why dad Ian McLeod found a special way to document his son, Cory's, life.
McLeod took a photo of the now 21-year-old Cory every day from birth (with only a few exceptions) and then compiled the 7,500 photos into an amazing time-lapse video that captures the entirety of his son's life in just a little over six minutes!
Though McLeod told the Yorkshire Post that he never planned on continuing his picture-taking practice for so many years, once he started, he felt like he would regret ever stopping. In fact, he was so committed that at times, McLeod would even drive over to Cory's friend's houses to get his picture of the day. And if that wasn't possible, he had Cory take one of himself and send it to him!

Well, I bet he's happy with his decision now because his hard work has definitely paid off! His video creation, which he entitled 21 Years, captures some of Cory's most precious moments, including birthdays, holidays, and more. But that's not all–the video has also garnered over 870,000 hits on YouTube!
Personally, I LOVE sentiment behind the whole project. Though I know it took a lot of commitment and efforts on both McLeod and Cory's parts (not to mention, time. Imagine sorting through 7500 photos!), the end result is simply stunning. Plus, the video is something that the family will be able to treasure forever…and perhaps it will even become a tradition Cory will continue with his kids!
