Yup, it's a baby boy!
Second-time dad Freddie Prinze, Jr., has just welcomed a son with wife Sarah Michelle Gellar, the couple announced earlier this week. The two "are thrilled to announce" the news that the Puerto Rican actor and ex-Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress "had a baby boy last week in Los Angeles," their reps confirmed to PEOPLE magazine and Access Hollywood.

The couple welcomed the new addition but have yet to reveal the baby's name. Is it possible that Freddie Jr. will do the traditional Latino dad thing and name his son after himself? I sure hope so! It would certainly be super-adorable to have a Freddie Prinze the Third around.
The new baby joins 3-year-old sister Charlotte Grace Prinze, who was recently spotted out with mommy Sarah Michelle; the rep says she "is very excited to be a big sister" and that the couple "are thrilled that Charlotte [has] a little brother."

I'm incredibly happy for the self-admitted Latino dad who loves being a stay-at-home parent and his wife of 10 years (they were married in September 2002, after meeting on the set of the 1997 teen horror flick I Know What You Did Last Summer)–and I definitely can't wait for them to reveal the baby's name! In the meantime, I'm glad to know that "mother and baby are doing great."
