It's a simple fact that little kids can get away tons of thing that adults can't. I mean, who can really resist an adorable toddler?
That's why I couldn't help but smile when I saw this super cute and hilarious video of Chloe–a very friendly little girl–who stands near the escalator of a mall and waves goodbye to every single person who walks by. Say it with me now: Awww!

Seriously, how freaking cute is she? Her cheerfulness is so infectious that it gets everyone who rides down the escalator to smile and wave as they go by. Try doing that now as an adult and somehow I don't think you would get quite the same reaction!
This video was especially hilarious for me to watch because when I was younger, I used to do the same exact thing. As my parents tell it, I was quite obnoxious if put in a high chair (to this day, I'm not very good at staying still for too long) but put me in front of a window and I would happily gaze out, smile, and babble at the people walking by–just like Chloe!

The whole thing just goes to show that an adorable little kid can always cheer up your day and put a much a smile on pretty much anyone's face, even a jaded seen-it-all New Yorker like me.
