Sometimes, all parents need is a little sign of appreciation. In the cutest news I've heard all week, a 10-year-old boy decided to give his mom just that by leaving her the incredibly adorable present and note seen here.
After noticing all of his mother's efforts, the boy paid her back by leaving a glass of what looks like a fruit smoothie in his kitchen, with a short letter tucked underneath. "Dear Mom," he wrote. "This is for you, I understand how hard you work, and I know you love strawberry milk, so I made this for you. :)" AWWW! Doesn't that make your heart melt?!

Word of his super sweet gift quickly spread over the Internet after his sibling posted a picture of it on Redditt, with the caption, "My 10 year old brother left this in the fridge for my mom to come home to after work…he's a sweetheart." And though some naysayers were quick to question the legitimacy of the note, citing the near-perfect, penmanship, most (including myself!) were filled with praise of the lovely and considerate gesture.

I only hope that if I ever have a son, he's as sweet as this one seems to be! After all, it's these endearing moments that make up for all the times your children are bound to drive you crazy. And if the strawberry milk tastes a little questionable…well, it's the thought that counts!
