After announcing that her 20-city MEGA concert tour with Enrique Iglesias and Wisin y Yandel will begin July 14 in Montreal, Canada, Jennifer Lopez also revealed that her 4-year-old twins, Max and Emme, will be coming with on the tour bus!
"I can't be away from them for too long," the American Idol judge told reporters Monday during her tour press conference in Los Angeles. "I don't know how that's all going to work. This is my first time. I'm going to see."
First of all, while some might think it's crazy for two preschoolers to go on the road with their superstar mami, I think it's awesome that they get to spend the summer with her while she's working. Not sure if Emme and Max will remember any of it, but it should be an amazing experience for all as the tour will take them to 13 cities in the US and Canada before going south of the border. Without a doubt, the schedule will probably be too hectic, but it's not like traveling is anything new for these niños who spent last Thanksgiving in Hawaii!

JLo admits that she plans to go with the flow and adds, "They'll get on the bus with me and it'll be a learning experience for both of us." And, when they get really tired, she said, there's always abuela's house, in reference to her mom Guadalupe, in whom she relies heavily for help with the twins (like any good mamá and abuela Latina would). And I'm sure Guadalupe will be happy to oblige.
Even so, JLo says she can't be without them for too long, so they will be with her most of the time. And I totally understand her. While I like the idea of traveling for business because it means I get some–much needed and highly appreciated–time to myself, the whole thing gets old after a couple of days. And even though I'm as lucky as JLo to have my mom totally involved in my children's life, I really just want to go back home and be with my little monsters who drive me crazy, but bring a smile to my face like no other.
